Philosophy of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, the philosophy of the Sikh faith is rarely ever talked about in great detail, I will try to mention the basics. When the first Guru came he spread a message of sharing with others, working honestly, and chanting the name of God; as the basics of true faith. Also we need to realize that certain virtues help assist us with our journey to grow as human beings; these are, Truth, Contentment, Compassion, Humility, and Love. Each of the 5 virtues are only capable to be fully evolved with the grace of the Satguru, whom Sikhs call Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the light that passed through til Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The great problem with humanity is the 5 evils, which call stem from Ego, these 5 evils are Greed, Lust, Attachment, Anger, and Pride, (All 5 of these can be destroyed only with the Name of God.) Sikhs also believe in the complete equality of humanity, as well as the need to help each other, which is why at every Sikh Gurdwara, (house of worship), people are offered the opportunity to get free food, and allowed to serve the people with the 5 virtues mentioned earlier. All in all, the Sikh faith strongly promotes the idea of grace and building humanity.

History of Sikh Faith Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! (Disclaimer, we are not a Sikh history blog, we may not be able to fully explain Sikh history as well), from the beginning of the Sikh faith there were various challenges to practice the philosophy of the Sikh faith. In the history of the Gurus, 2 Gurus were martyred just to show the world how important the values in the Sikh faith were. Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji gave his life to prevent any changes to the sacred Gurbani, which to this day is the basis of how we should live our lives even despite hardships in the world. Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji gave his life to prove that humanity should have the freedom to worship without the force of power. Some various other things that happened was the change of Vaisakhi from an important festival for many farmers in for their crops, to the formation of Khalsa and giving of the sacred Amrit from the form of Charan Amrit to Khande Di Pahul, Also the Guruship has been given throughout the years from 1469 to 1708 with Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji forever having the Guruship spirit inside it from 1708 onward, as with the Khalsa representing the message as well. Forgive me for any mistakes made in either section of this topic, this is the best of my ability and hopefully Guru Sahib blesses me with more knowledge to assist others.
